TH LINK PROFINET: Efficient maintenance and diagnostics of PROFINET networks
The TH LINK PROFINET diagnostics tool makes use of a controller-independent access to monitor PROFINET networks. The diagnostic data is collected in networks comprising up to 254 nodes, and made available to users through the TH SCOPE software application. TH LINK PROFINET is easy to use and can be integrated without interfering with the operation of existing installations.

The clear interface with green ticks makes at a glance confirmation easy. The TH Link PROFINET also has the ability to close a voltage free relay to feedback into your SCADA system, connect with OPC UA or send an email warning you that something is amiss.
Why would I use the TH Link PROFINET?
The two main uses for the TH Link PROFINET are for monitoring a networks to ensure that it is working as it was designed to. The second use is for acceptance testing.
When used in conjunction with the TH Scope software, the TH Link can perform the majority of the tests within the acceptance testing for PROFINET networks. It cannot do the physical properties of the cable, but the configuration and topology of the PROFINET devices are where this device shines.
Another feature that the TH Link does which as an engineer that attends sites is to enable you to log a network configuration and automatically compare this historical configuration against the current configuration. Has someone swapped some wires around? have they swapped out a device and the new device has different firmware?
